# Seawolf Technologies > Aerial fish-spotting, from your own deck. AI-powered detection that launches from any vessel. Sport boats and commercial fleets, without the helicopter, the shared spotter plane, or the hours of crew time it takes to do it by hand. ## What we do Seawolf builds aerial fish-detection technology that launches from a vessel's own deck. A drone captures aerial footage, our detection software identifies tuna schools in real time, and the position is delivered to the bridge, plotted directly into TimeZero and Navionics, the navigation tools captains already watch. Pilot program underway with sport captains in Southern California, 2026. ## Two products, one platform ### Ghost (sport): https://spotseawolf.com/sport/ Hand-launch off the deck. Water-landing alongside the boat. Two hours of flight, sixteen nautical miles of coverage. Built for owner-operator sport boats. Pilot program is at capacity; production slots open and filling. Reservations open at $100, fully refundable before production, credits in full to the first invoice on delivery. Units ship late 2026. ### Macedonia (commercial): https://spotseawolf.com/commercial/ Vertical takeoff and landing off the deck. Four-plus hours of flight, one hundred and forty-five nautical miles of coverage. Per-vessel deployment for commercial fleets. No new aviation hire, no pilot pool, no shared spotter scheduling. Same detection software as Ghost, scaled for fleet operations. Pilot conversations open now. Broader rollout through 2027. ## How it works 1. **Drone goes up off the deck.** Hand-launch (Ghost) or vertical takeoff (Macedonia). No runway, no recovery boat, no specialized crew. 2. **The model finds the tuna.** Our detection software watches the video feed in real time. Tuna schools below the surface and breaching foam on top, both flagged. 3. **Coordinates on the plotter.** Alerts land where the captain is already looking, in TimeZero and Navionics. Not a new app to learn. ## Compared to existing options - **Helicopter spotting**: up to $3M per boat per year. Aviation staff required. Pilot pool thinning. - **Shared spotter planes**: $300+ per hour plus fuel. Shared with five other boats. Weather-dependent. Often unavailable when conditions matter most. - **Binoculars / crew on the bow**: Hours of fuel burned scanning by eye. Misses schools that go down briefly. Easy to miss something you fly directly over. - **Bird radar**: tracks the birds, not the tuna underneath them. - **Yesterday's coordinates**: run yesterday's numbers and hope. - **Seawolf**: per-vessel deployment, drone-based, existing deckhands operate. Pays for itself in a single season. ## Careers: https://spotseawolf.com/careers/ We don't post listings until we're ready. The way someone joins Seawolf is by writing, and us not being able to imagine working without them. Backgrounds we keep meeting: computer vision and ML and data science; hardware and embedded systems; marine biology and ocean science; fishing operations and time on the water. If you're not on the list, write anyway. careers@spotseawolf.com. ## Reservation terms: https://spotseawolf.com/terms/ Sport reservations are $100, refundable in full before the unit enters production, credited to the first invoice on delivery. ## Contact - Website: https://spotseawolf.com - Sales: sales@spotseawolf.com - General inquiries: info@spotseawolf.com - Partnerships: partnerships@spotseawolf.com - Careers: careers@spotseawolf.com - Phone: (619) 704-3070 - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/seawolf-technologies-inc ## Location Operating pilots throughout Southern California.
